Well what a year that was, achieved quiet a few goals on the last couple of weeks of 2020; more quality photos, more sales of packages, meet more quality people. I hope you all did the same.

It was not always easy to be able to schedule boudoir photo shoots in Melbourne, but the sessions I made were all lots of fun and the women were fabulous.

Did you set yourself new goals?

It's official, our whole city has gone back into a hard Covid 19 lockdown once more. As a boudoir photographer in Melbourne, this makes it complicated to get my work done, but it is fortunately still possible for many clients.

I will take this time to post many old photos on all social media platforms and share them around. You never know what other people think of glamour photography. Sometimes the shots i think are just okay, other people may think are amazing.

I think for too often we take our own criticism a little bit too hard perhaps. It is easy to not realise that other people may find images I take, not just glamour, quite touching.

I feel like, if you find yourself not knowing what to do, don’t think too much just do it!!

So in this blog I will attempt the take my own advice and document the development of this idea/passion I have as a professional boudoir photographer. Let's see what value I can not only bring to the industry but to my own ideas of photography.

What you will find in these posts are things on:

~ Camera Gear

~ Software usage

~ Organising shoots

~ Models

~ Actually conducting shoots

~ Posing

~ What to do after the shoot

~ Business Development and probably a lot more.

Thanks for taking to time to read this and let's see where this goes.

Regards

Andrew
